Refreshments (Ice cream) and prize giving

Bring deck chairs if you want.
Enjoy the afternoon in the company of kindred members.

Programme:
12-1 pm Lunch and social time
1-3 pm Activities include children’s games, bush walks, a children’s playground, a supervised swimming pool and biking tracks.
Bask in the afternoon socialising with other Association members.
3 pm Refreshments, prize giving and treats for children.

Totara Park, 90 Wairere Rd, Manurewa
Our picnic area will be on the left of the park entrance, next to the main carpark, which is at the end of the road, 90 Wairere Rd, Manurewa

Cost
(including lunch provided by the Association)
$10 for members; $20 non-members. Free for members’ children who are 12 years and under.

• 1pm–3pm： 自由活動時間包括叢林漫步、兒童遊樂場玩耍、有人監督的游泳和自行車道活動

地點：Totara 公園
• Totara 坐落在 216 公頃的灌木叢中，設有自然徒步道，位於 Manurewa 的 90 Wairere Rd。我們的野餐區位於公園入口左側，靠近主停車場。
• 費用：會員 $10； 非會員 $20； 12 歲及以下會員兒童免費

Postponement Notice

The weather forecast for tomorrow (Sunday 3rd) is near 100% chance of rain with wind.

 

Therefore we have made the call to postpone our family picnic by one week.

Rescheduled for Sunday 10th March 2024. All other details remain the same.

 

Please email info@zhongshan.nz to confirm your booking for the revised date. Or contact May Fong on 022 046 1218 if you don’t use email.

Refunds will be provided if you cant attend on the revised date.

Announcement

Following the success of last year’s Family Picnic, your Association invites members and friends to join our 2024 family bbq/picnic. Bring your children and grandchildren. Bring your parents and grandparents. Bring blankets or deck chairs if you want.

The emphasis is for ZhongShan families to enjoy the afternoon in the company of kindred members.

Lunch, activities and fun will be provided by the Association.

Totara Park is an Auckland City recreational reserve, set in 216 hectares of bush with nature walks. Our picnic area will be on the left of the park entrance, next to the main carpark which is at the end of the road, 90 Wairere Rd, Manurewa

Cost (including lunch provided by the Association)

$10 for members; $20 non-members. Free for members’ children who are 12 years and under.

Non members who take up membership of our Association on the day/for this event can attend for a $20 discounted fee. Membership is a one-off cost (lifetime subscription) of $200 for couples including their children under 18yo or $100 for single adults. Join by completing the online form zhongshan.nz/membership-application-form/ or we will supply printed forms at the event. Pay by direct credit ASB account 12-3066-0024201-00 with reference membership.

For catering purposes, please confirm your attendance by email to info@zhongshan.nz with the following information:

    • Your name

    • Contact phone

    • Numbers attending, comprising number of members, numbers of members’ children 6 and under, and number of non-members

    • For example, John Smith; 021 748 625; 2 members, 3 members’ children, 1 non-member

Your reservation will only be confirmed with a direct credit payment to:

    • Particulars: your Name;

Cancellation

If it is necessary to cancel the picnic due to weather, Covid or other risk factors, we will advise you by email (to the same email address as this newsletter was sent) and a cancellation notice will be posted on our website zhongshan.nz  and  our Facebook page facebook.com/AZSCA/ by 3 pm, Saturday, 2 March.
