AZSCA Clubhouse Afternoon – Sunday, 15 June 2025
Zhongshan and Guangxi Tour Presentation by AZSCA participants

Winter has arrived so it’s time to restart our Association clubhouse meetings.

In March 2025, 61 members and friends of our Association travelled to Zhongshan and renewed friendships with our hometown, city officials and friends. This was followed by a tour of Guangxi Province where they experienced marvellous sightseeing, history and much delectable cuisine. By all accounts it was two full weeks of fun, friendship and fantastic food.

Several younger members on the tour, who are our 3rd and 4th generation Zhongshan members – Rachael Choy, Jonathan Choy, Wayne and Selina Lee, Lynnette Sams (née Ho) (including Lynnette’s children Ethan and Lauren) and Joseph O’Connor – will share and present their experiences and their deeper understanding of their Zhongshan roots at our next club meet.

We especially welcome young members who are interested in their family heritage to come and learn from these guys’ experiences. Their presentation will be in English so there are no worries about understanding their message and enthusiasm. We hope there will be inspiration generated to form another Zhongshan tour very soon, catering for English speakers with a tour focused on younger interests.
