The AZSCA Committee has reviewed the membership fees and resolved the following changes to the structure and rates, effective 1st February 2019:-
| Member and Spouse/Partner | $200 |
| Family – Member/Partner and their Children, up to 18 years old | $200 |
| Junior / single adult member | $100 |
Children of members (aged 18 years and less) can still enjoy Association activities without extra charge.
This review is the first since the Association was incorporated in 1984, 35 years ago.
The AZSCA Association provides numerous benefits to members over the course of the year and the new rate is still considered to be excellent value for the benefits on offer. Most activities such as the outings, dinners and meetings are subsidised for members. The Association also drives initiatives to promote Auckland-Zhongshan relationships, our members and their culture, in NZ and globally. Examples are the Youth Scholarships, Friendship hosting activities and Honouring of Seniors.
At this stage the joining fee is the only cost to members, the annual membership fee is still $0
