Association members are invited to our inaugural clubhouse meeting on Sunday 30th June, 2-5pm at our clubrooms, 30 Glenmall Pl, Glen Eden.

Drop in any time to chat, mix and mingle with fellow Zhongshan friends and be entertained by our guest chef.

Low Hon Chong has kindly offered to provide a cooking demonstration of his “koh yook” dish – braised meat casserole together with his famous curry lamb and chicken dishes.

Low Hon Chong is a long time committee member, been in the food business for many years and father of Sam Low, MasterChef 2022 winner. Low Hon Chong reckons he taught Sam everything he knows about cooking when he was 15yo and cooks better than Sam. Lol.

Proposed programme is:-
-2pm onwards, meet, mix and mingle
-2:30pm Start food demonstration by Low Hon Chong
-3:30pm Videos from Zhongshan, mix and mingle time
-4:30pm Sample the koh yook and curry dishes, when they’re ready.

Cost: Inaugural clubhouse meeting will be free to members.

Explanation:-

AZSCA has a clubhouse which holds our Association memorabilia, where we hold our AGM and entertain Zhongshan visitors and dignitaries.

We encourage AZSCA members to use this facility, socialise and form stronger friendships with fellow members.

If there proves to be sufficient interest we will host more clubhouse meetings with events such as:-
-Guest speakers
-Cooking and educational primers
-Zhongshan trip planning
-Technology (website) forum
-Videos from Zhongshan
-Chinese – English language primer
-Pot luck lunches
-Quiz afternoon
-Mah Jong afternoon
-Karaoke session

The primary objective of each clubhouse meet is to provide a fun venue for mixing and mingling with fellow members.
